DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting, and Conformance) is an email security protocol that builds on SPF and [DKIM](/newsletter-glossary/dkim). It enables domain owners to specify policies for handling suspicious messages and provides reporting mechanisms, improving protection against email spoofing and phishing.
